The Artistic Museum of Contemporary Art (AMOCA) is scheduled for permanent opening in Wales. The aim is to offer a meeting place for innovative, contemporary art by establishing AMOCA as a key platform and museum for exhibitions, talks and symposiums.

Through collaborations with international curators and artists, AMOCA will further enhance the public’s appreciation of art. The museum will strive to strengthen the cultural landscape.

The ambition is to engage in the global, contemporary art discourse and acquire a position as a museum for international, contemporary art.

During June 2025 AMOCA held an inaugural popup exhibition at Marble Hall, The Temple of Peace in central Wales, Cardiff: AMOCA Dialogues: Black Voices from the Museum Collection.

April 2026 the second popup exhibition AMOCA Dialogues: New Voices from the Museum Collection will be held focusing on female and non-binary artists.
